Government Technology Solutions, Inc. - known as gvTechSolutions - is a leading Information Assurance (IA) technology supplier to the Federal Government, various state governments, and local government markets. gvTechSolutions roots go back to 1979, when the founder first became involved in the computer industry at the start of the Silicon Valley explosion of the late 70's. Since that time, we have seen the introduction of the IBM PC, Laser and Ink Jet printer, Local Area Network, Wide Area Network, Internet, and virtually all of what most people consider today's "Information Processing Industry". This extensive background helps us to provide solutions based on experience instead of promises. While our background and experience cover all aspects of the computer industry, gvTechSolutions was founded to address the increasingly complex and changing field of integrated security solutions. Among the first's in the industry which can be attributed to gvTechSolutions people are: The first State of California CMAS contract (1994) The first GSA contract extension for a dealer in the Federal Government Contracting market (1994) The first Federal contract for remanufactured Ink Jet Cartridges - creating the catagory within the Federal Government under the GSA New Item Introductory Schedule (NIIS) (1998) The first company to adopt the Common Criteria/NIAP (National Information Assurance Partnership) program as a mandatory requirement for all our vendor partners.
